Amazon is seeking a skilled Workforce Planner to lead country-wide staffing and high-volume hiring events for our Customer Fulfillment & Delivery Services teams. This role requires managing the delivery of Associate labor through direct sourcing channels, vendor suppliers, daily vendor management, and engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of labour planning, experience in vendor management, and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for driving key metrics related to vendor engagement, peak planning, cost of hiring, compliance, and developing a scalable lights-out Workforce Planning workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business operations and finance regional leaders to align labour strategy, plans, and mitigate risk due to labour fulfillment.
- Determine the hiring strategy with the country, considering local market conditions and cost per hire.
- Use multiple channels in sourcing and stay current on recruiting sourcing trends relevant to high-volume hiring.
- Interpret sourcing data to suggest viability of sourcing strategy and improvements needed.
- Audit and evaluate rate cards by role/skill to ensure parity and consistency.
- Challenge commercial contract terms and partner with Procurement/Legal to redraft contracts as required.
- Examine and establish the causes of adverse trends in metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and provide solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and associated KPIs, deliver standard work, and forecast.
Must be able to travel as needed to conduct events in various locations within your assigned geographical area (local travel up to 25%).
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Proven experience in labour planning.
- Solid understanding of operational environments.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and deep dive skills.
- Vendor management experience.
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation.
- Experience managing confidential employee information and adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Financial planning or commercial analyst experience.
