Job Position Overview

This is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position focused on vanadium characterisation from various horizons of the Toolebuc Formation and tailings samples.

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Conduct comprehensive research and contribute to research publications in the field of geology
  • Collaborate with researchers from Earth Sciences, Engineering, and industry partners to drive project outcomes
  • Ensure all key research milestones are achieved in alignment with project timelines and deliverables
Qualifications and Experience
  • PhD qualification or equivalent in Geology or related disciplines with demonstrated expertise in mineralogy, petrology, economic geology, and/or geochemistry
  • Proven experience in geological materials characterisation through instrumental methods such as EPMA, SEM, LA-ICPMS, XRD, etc.
  • Strong track record in research publication and contribution to academic papers
