We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Key Executive for Infrastructure Projects at Turner & Townsend.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage large-scale construction projects and programs as the key client interface, establishing and maintaining a client-focused environment.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in driving local business vision, strategy, focus, and goals, leading business development activities, and providing communication and focus.

Responsibilities will include taking responsibility for stage gate governance throughout the project lifecycle, developing and leveraging industry relationships, preparing strategies from a business generation and project delivery perspective, delivering an exciting team vision, supporting client organisations to develop and deliver major projects and programs efficiently and effectively.

Additionally, the Key Executive will manage the development of cost estimates from drawings and specifications, lead the team across various infrastructure projects in the utilities and transport sectors, grow and develop exceptional people for their team, and display excellence in service delivery leadership.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years relevant industry experience with full working rights and currently living in Australia.
  • A recognised Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Construction delivery experience in any one of the Aviation, Rail, Utilities, or Transport sectors.
  • Exceptional business development experience with a large network in the Queensland infrastructure market.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of successful project delivery and engaging with and influencing clients and key stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
  • A reputation for challenge, innovation, and continued improvement.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to clients.

What We Offer

Turner & Townsend offers a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the attractive remuneration package, we offer a range of benefits including:
