Chocolate Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to supervise and lead a line team in our production department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and direct their team members.

The Chocolate Operations Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient production and maintaining a safe working environment. This includes operating state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines, following set recipes and methods, and performing heavy lifting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the line team to ensure effective production and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operate and maintain machinery, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings, and tempering chocolate.
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end machine operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to GMP guidelines.
  • Organize packing staff at end-of-line packing stations.
  • Mix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositing.
  • Execute production schedules and perform regular equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as required.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in training programs to improve technical and mechanical skills.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or FMCG.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.
