About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at a medium-sized care service in Launceston. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality person-centered care to our residents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional clinical care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Review, update, and accurately complete resident documentation, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents, promoting a culture of respect and dignity.
  • Support with funding assessments and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Mentor, train, and lead care team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA RN registration with Australian aged care experience.
  • Understanding of aged care standards and quality indicators.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn the AN-ACC funding system.
  • Up-to-date Flu and Covid vaccinations.
