Teaching Opportunity in Creative Arts

We are seeking a talented educator to join our team as a teacher of Creative Arts. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and passionate individual who can create engaging learning experiences for students in Years 7-12.

About the Role

This is a merit pool position, seeking future vacancies in the Creative Arts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Visual Art, Ceramics, Photography, and Media to students in Years 7-12.

The College supports teachers with professional development opportunities, including on-site mentoring, coaching, and communities of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach Visual Art, Ceramics, Photography, and Media to students in Years 7-12
  • To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong teaching qualification recognised by the ACT Department of Education
  • Experience in teaching Years 7-12
  • Maintain registration as a teacher with the Teacher Quality Institute, including WWVP
  • A current First Aid Certificate
