Key Role Summary

The Head of Creative Arts is a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of high-quality Creative Arts programs across the Secondary School. The successful candidate will have extensive teaching experience and subject knowledge of Creative Arts, including Visual Art, Media and Photography.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with the College's values and strategic priorities
  • Lead and manage the Creative Arts team to ensure exceptional teaching and learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative and engaging learning experiences
  • Monitor and evaluate student achievement and progress in Creative Arts subjects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the College's reputation and opportunities for students
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Teaching qualification recognised by relevant education authorities
  • Maintain registration as a teacher with relevant professional bodies
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
