
Audiology Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a skilled Audiologist with experience in leading clinical services and teams. They will have excellent negotiation, advocacy, consultation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide advice to senior managers and other stakeholders on service needs.
- Deliver advanced level Audiology clinical services and leadership across a broad range of clinical services within the Audiology team and multi-disciplinary team contexts.
- Provide advanced level clinical and management advice, support and guidance regarding Audiology and hearing health to all Audiologists and relevant managers.
We are looking for an experienced Audiologist who has:
- A demonstrated advanced level of knowledge, expertise and skill in delivery of clinical Audiology and hearing healthcare services to complex clients where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation or modification.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, facilitate, monitor and report on activity within the Audiology profession and provide the day-to-day management of a professional service.
- Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to the strategic direction for Audiology, including the driving of best practice service delivery models, change management processes and the integrating of clinical initiatives into practice.
The following requirements must be met:
- Vaccinated against certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70
