Senior Mechanical Engineer

CPC Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in delivering exceptional engineering solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, overseeing complex projects, and driving innovation in mechanical engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality mechanical engineering deliverables, including package engineering, calculations, and plant design.
- Provide expert review and approval of mechanical deliverables to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with designers and drafters to ensure accurate and efficient design development.
- Monitor project progress and schedule to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering and quality management requirements.
Requirements
- Industry-related higher education degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in minerals process plant design, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of various processes and unit operations.
- Proven experience in engineering delivery and project management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- High-level communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise written and verbal reports.
- Strong computer literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to produce study estimates and manage studies and small site projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of databases and version control systems.
- Ability to mentor and develop other mechanical engineers.
- Extensive industry contacts and ability to win client confidence through business development.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
