Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of mechanical services across Brisbane and support the ACOR Group nationally.
- Produce project documentation to client standards, including drawings, reports, specifications, and project advice notices.
- Manage and support mechanical projects to achieve deliverables.
- Support project directors and leaders on mechanical projects.
- Apply professional judgment to complex tasks and provide mentoring and training to junior staff.
- Manage drafting staff and BIM designers on a project basis.
- Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met, and track time and budget to invoicing and cash flow.
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects and undertake professional development training.
- Report to the Queensland Building Services Leader.
- Prepare fee submissions for key clients and manage client relationships.
- Contribute to business development activities, including client and project prospecting and pursuits.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within a building services engineering consultancy.
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Member of Engineer's Australia and Chartered Professional Engineer (or on path to achieving).
- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
- Strong working knowledge of relevant design software packages.
- Experience in designing mechanical services in multiple sectors.
- Thorough understanding of NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
- Good level of report writing and communication skills.
