We are looking for a Senior Process Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping us achieve real value from our projects by implementing best-practice systems, processes and procurement approaches. This role plays a key part in delivering our strategic goals at the Western Treatment Plant and involves overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and business standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and in some cases leading development of treatment projects with major risk implications;
  • Achieving value for money outcomes by challenging project scope and delivery methodologies;
  • Developing Business Case documentation and Project Development from project initiation to Ready for Tender;
  • Accountable for Project budget, schedule, forecast and risks;
  • Engagement with senior stakeholders to clarify project outputs and scope;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary degree in relevant engineering or discipline field (e.g. process or mechanical) or experience in relatable area;
  • Proficiency in process engineering acquired through experience in planning and design of wastewater treatment processes and a sound understanding of the science underpinning drinking wastewater treatment;
  • Knowledge of the associated wastewater and recycled water regulatory environment and guidelines;
  • Demonstrated project management experience including the ability to manage internal and external resources;
