We are seeking a driven and ambitious graduate to join our natural hazards planning team in a 12-month immersive program.

About the Role

This full-time graduate position is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience to excel in your chosen career as a hazard mitigation specialist.

  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality reports and briefings on natural hazard policy and land use planning issues.
  • Develop a technically proficient understanding of natural hazard policy in broader land use planning contexts.

You will work alongside industry leaders, contributing to projects that help shape and connect our community.

Your Career Opportunities

As a graduate within the natural hazard planning team, you will be working alongside engineers and technical officers to ensure our natural hazard mapping and City Plan requirements remain up-to-date.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a recognised bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification from a tertiary institution, completed within the last two years or be completing prior to the commencement of the program.

  • A recognised bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in urban or environmental planning, disaster planning/resilience, climate change adaptation or similar.
  • Full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program.
