You will work alongside engineers and technical officers to ensure our natural hazard mapping and City Plan requirements remain up-to-date. You will contribute to the development of natural hazard policy and its implementation in City Plan, enhancing the resilience of the Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a technically proficient understanding of natural hazard policy in broader land use planning contexts.
  • Contribute to high-quality reports and briefings on natural hazard policy and land use planning issues.
  • Support the wider team in representing Natural Hazards in various forums and projects.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Support the Natural Hazard Planning team in delivering projects and programs to address statutory requirements.
