At GFG-Alliance, we are seeking an experienced Despatch Superintendent to lead our Despatch team in Mayfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of all products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the performance of the Despatch team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Liaise with transport providers, Internal Operations, Sales, and Production teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and execute logistic plans to move products and deliver orders in-full and on-time (dIFOT).
- Drive continuous improvement programs to reduce costs, improve service, and enhance safety.
- Analyse orders to optimise transport planning and load picking to meet targets.
- Lead safety compliance and improvement initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role within Logistics or Warehouse environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to engage with all levels of the business.
- Ability to problem-solve and manage a variety of challenges and priorities.
- Great attention to detail, specifically in relation to accurate record keeping and document preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office and exposure to SAP system desirable.
