Job Title: Despatch Superintendent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Despatch Superintendent to join our team at InfraBuild Wire. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the performance of the Despatch team, ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of all products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the performance of the Despatch team
• Liaise with transport providers, Internal Operations, Sales, and Production teams
• Execute logistic plans to move products and deliver orders in-full and on-time
• Drive continuous improvement programs to reduce costs, improve service, and enhance safety
• Analyse orders to optimise transport planning and load picking to meet targets
• Lead safety compliance and improvement with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role within a logistics or warehouse environment
• Formal qualifications in logistics are highly regarded
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to engage with all levels of the business
• Ability to problem-solve and manage a variety of challenges and priorities
• Great attention to detail, specifically in relation to accurate record-keeping and document preparation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office and exposure to SAP systems desirable
