We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Ramp Agent to join our team at the Rockhampton Airport.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing travel documents, and performing various tasks related to aircraft operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers with a smile and provide assistance with check-in and travel documentation
- Process and check travel documents to ensure compliance with requirements
- Assign seats on the aircraft and prepare boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers
- Perform gate boarding, passenger marshalling, and disruption management tasks
- Load and unload baggage and freight, and perform aircraft receipt and dispatch duties
- Operate ground service equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Impeccable grooming and deportment
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Proficient computer skills
- Pass drug, alcohol, and audio tests
- Hold an ASIC card or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays, including Christmas
- Ability to work any shift from 05:00am to 11:00pm
- Commit to shift lengths of 4 hours per day
- Available for 2 weeks' full-time training
A competitive hourly rate of $30 to $33, plus super and shift loading, and the opportunity to work towards full-time permanency.
