Recreation Venues Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Recreation Venues Manager, you will oversee the operations of multiple community-focused recreation venues, directly managed by the council. Additionally, you will manage the operating budget, providing strategic and operational leadership to the Recreation Venues branch.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to negotiate, communicate, and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders. They will also have experience in leading and managing high-performing teams, fostering a culture that develops and uplifts team capability.

This position is integral to our leadership team, providing expert advice on infrastructure and asset management planning, as well as implementing safety and risk management frameworks.
