Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Coordinator to join our team in Castlemaine, Victoria. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time ongoing position offering a salary of $35.78 to $39.57 per hour plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and provide high-level support to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional point of contact for residents and families, responding to enquiries and liaising with stakeholders as needed;
  • Manage resident files and records, ensuring accurate and timely information is maintained;
  • Coordinate admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition process for residents and their families;
  • Support Ward Clerks in the administration of daily tasks and reports;
  • Promote a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity, aligning with our Healthier Together philosophy.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in residential aged care or a related field, preferably with a Certificate IV or higher in Business/Administration;
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive and respectful work environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff members.
