Job Opportunity: IT Support Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an IT Support Officer.

• As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to staff via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person support.

• Be the first point of contact for IT support and queries, including logging incidents.
• Complete all logged incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
• Identify and escalate appropriate incidents to relevant parties.
• Work on hardware or software rollouts assigned by senior team members or management.
• Contribute to projects assigned by management.
• Conduct visits to offices and site offices during rollouts or audit visits.
• Maintain inventory of all IT assets.
• Document frequently used applications or functions and processes for a public knowledge base.

• Demonstrated knowledge of desktop computing hardware.
• Familiarity with Windows desktop operating systems.
• Understanding of Windows Domain and Active Directory user maintenance.
• Knowledge of Help Desk Systems.
• Proficiency in common business applications (Office, Adobe, SharePoint).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and applications (Office365, Azure, AWS).

• Relevant university qualification, TAFE, or industry certification.
• Vendor or industry certifications.
• Knowledge of ITIL Foundation best practices.
