Appliance Service Technician Role

The Opportunity

 

As an Appliance Service Technician, you will work closely with customers, using your knowledge to repair appliances and air conditioners quickly. You will also have the opportunity for continuous training, development, and support, as well as career progression.

 

The role involves carrying out professional quality service repairs directly to customers at their residence or in the workshop. A major benefit is flexibility, supporting a 'work out of home' model, which means you do not have to travel each morning or night to the workshop.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and fully test the operation of products ensuring full customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain superior product knowledge through all training media, service manuals, and training sessions.
  • Complete all paperwork and documents related to service work and cash collection.
  • Maintain and manage van stock of spare parts inventory.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • An Electrical License or Restricted Electrical Workers License (Disconnect & Reconnect Appliances) is preferred, but industry experience is a minimum requirement.
  • Strong communication skills and strong PC skills are essential.
  • Provide premium customer service.
  • Be self-motivated with a positive, friendly, and approachable nature.
