Eye Care Specialist Opportunity

Are you passionate about providing high-quality eye care to patients? Do you have excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in ophthalmic medicine? We are seeking an experienced Eye Care Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Eye Care Specialist to provide personalized care to patients with refractive, cataract, cornea, glaucoma, medical retina, dry eye, and occasional paediatrics conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong interest in ophthalmic medicine, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to patients with refractive, cataract, cornea, glaucoma, medical retina, dry eye, and occasional paediatrics conditions.
  • Work closely with a range of technologies including OCT/OPTOS, Humphrey Visual Field, A-scan, Pentacam/Specular Microscopy/Corvis, Verion/Callisto, and Subjective refraction/refractive consults.
  • Assist in minor surgical procedures and intra-vitreal injections.
  • Gather valuable research data for clinical studies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary and unique practice, working with a close team to learn and assist in refractive/lasers setting.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel between locations as required.
