Retail Business Manager

We are seeking a professional to manage leasing enquiries, secure new tenants, and execute leasing deals across convenience-based retail assets.
This role requires a proactive mindset with a passion for retail and activation, as well as the ability to build relationships with tenants, agents, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years demonstrated experience in retail leasing or shopping centre environments, strong negotiation and commercial acumen, and confident communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all leasing enquiries and drive business growth
- Secure new tenants and negotiate leases
- Develop and implement strategies for renewals, casual leasing opportunities, and re-leasing initiatives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Maintain a strong pipeline through active prospecting and market engagement
- Monitor tenant performance and contribute to centre planning initiatives
- Optimize existing leases to maximize gross income
- Promote low vacancy, rental growth, and incentive capital efficiency
- Drive business development and expansion through strategic partnerships and precinct enhancements
- 3+ years demonstrated experience in retail leasing or shopping centre environments
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Ability to build relationships with tenants, agents, and internal stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with a passion for retail and activation
- Confident communicator with a strong drive to deliver results
