Learning Support Advisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Advisor.

This role involves providing academic learning and language support to students from various disciplines, working under the direction of the Writing Centre Coordinator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring students in their writing process, offering guidance on academic literacies and study skills.
  • Delivering workshops on academic literacies and giving presentations to student groups on our services.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Undergraduate degree in any field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in academic writing and literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • TESOL qualification (minimum: CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL).
  • Experience supporting English as an Additional Language students.
