Job Title: Registered Nurse Acute Services

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated clinical team at Southern Fleurieu Health Services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of professional, high-quality patient care within the Southern Fleurieu Health Service Acute Services - Ward A in Victor Harbor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess individual patient needs and plan, implement, or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
  • Provide health education, counselling, and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups.
  • Support and guide newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses, and other workers providing basic nursing care.
  • Develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience, and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team.

Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards.
  • Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads.
