We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated clinical team at Southern Fleurieu Health Services.
As a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to the delivery of professional, high-quality patient care within the Southern Fleurieu Health Service in Victor Harbor.
You will assess individual patient needs, plan, implement, or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
Additionally, you will provide health education, counseling, and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups.
You will also provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses, and other workers providing basic nursing care.
Consolidating your knowledge and skills, you will develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience.
Maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team is essential.
As a valued member of our team, you will have access to flexible working hours, education and training opportunities, and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic healthcare.
Key Requirements:
- Eligibility for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current practicing certificate
- Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads
- Creativity, innovation, and flexibility when approaching issues within a healthcare setting
