Job Overview

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the delivery of TBM mechanical activities on a contract basis.

About the Role

As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of TBM operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong working relationships with subcontractors, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all works meet required quality, safety and environmental standards.
  • Acting as a visible leader on site through site walks, team engagement, and issue resolution.
  • Supervising and scheduling mechanical maintenance activities for TBMs, ensuring operational compliance and safety.
  • Assisting with work program planning, monitoring progress, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Planning and delivering TBM routine maintenance.
  • Ensuring staff are inducted, trained, and compliant with Safe Work Method Statements.
  • Leading pre-start meetings and toolbox talks focused on safety management and upcoming activities.

Requirements

Proven supervisory experience on major Tier 1 projects, with specific TBM experience. A recognised Mechanical trade qualification is also essential.
