Retail Energy Regulatory Specialist

The team responsible for Retail Energy Regulation plays a crucial role in shaping the regulatory framework that governs retail energy business operations.
- Develop and enhance the Retail regulatory framework and market arrangements, focusing on the national regulatory framework;
- Maintain close relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless collaboration and compliance with relevant regulations and laws;
- Establish and nurture relationships with regulators to influence regulatory outcomes aligned with the company's strategic objectives;
- Provide timely and accurate regulatory advice to the Retail Business Unit on gas and electricity rules, regulations, codes, and guidelines at the national level; and
- Contribute to a company-wide compliance campaign by providing insightful input and guidance.
To excel in this role, you will need a deep understanding of regulations and their impact on the business. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as highly developed stakeholder engagement abilities, are also essential. You must be able to effectively influence both internal and external relationships in an intuitive and enthusiastic manner.
