Job Opportunity for Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with our global team of experts within a leading international consultancy, providing the chance to leverage your skills across a balance of technical work, project management, and client relationships.

  • Design structural elements of buildings and inspect, assess, and report on their condition.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.
  • Manage projects and lead teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Be part of a team working on projects from conception through to final design and construction surveillance.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • 3-6 years industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
  • Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
