About the Position

This role requires a caring, skilled professional to provide daily support for children in their home environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the children's space and assist with household tasks before school pick-up
  • Pick the children up from school and return them home
  • Assist with homework, playtime, meal preparation, bath time, and winding-down routines
  • Maintain the children's living area and accompany them on errands
School Holidays
  • Provide full-day care from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm
  • Engage the children in creative activities and age-appropriate adventures
  • Prepare and supervise lunch or light meals
Added Value
  • Offer emotional support during the children's transition to Australia
  • Recommend local groups or community meet-ups suitable for children
  • Be part of a wider support network as they settle in

The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in childcare and hold relevant qualifications. A current first aid certificate and Working With Children's Check are also required.
