Systems Engineering Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree and experience in regulated industries such as Defence, transport, nuclear, or pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to projects using proven Systems Engineering and Assurance approaches throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead Verification and Validation efforts to ensure user needs are captured and met through design and related activities.
  • Collaborate with project leadership and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and support safety case submissions.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify risks and controls to enhance Systems Safety, RAM, Human Factors implementation in design and delivery.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship or eligibility for an Australian Defence security clearance is essential.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree is required.
  • Experience within regulated industries is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Systems engineering and assurance principles is necessary.
  • System safety and assurance experience is highly desirable.
