Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Senior Structural Ports & Marine Engineer to join our team based in Western Australia. As part of our Ports, Marine & Coastal Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of maritime projects through your deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage mathematical and analytical skills to contribute to project design and implementation.
  • Establish design-related hypotheses for testing through data analysis and resolve design gaps.
  • Undertake packages of design work with minimal supervision, showcasing your experience and technical mastery.
  • Produce and review technical drawings, 3D models, and plans, as well as create material requisition specifications.
  • Contribute to co-creating innovative solutions and bring ideas to life by understanding and meeting clients' future needs.
  • Add value across the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design, ensuring adherence to regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

A strong educational background in Civil or Structural Engineering paired with experience in Maritime Engineering is essential.

  • Proven ability to innovate and reimagine solutions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience in fostering collaboration in diverse teams to bring innovative solutions to fruition, valuing varied perspectives and skills.
  • A dedication to elevating team performance to meet or surpass client expectations, with a focus on exceptional service and securing repeat business.
  • Hands-on experience in ensuring project adherence to industry regulations and best practices, maintaining high standards of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake design work independently, delivering quality outcomes promptly and showcasing technical mastery.
  • Possess sound writing skills to communicate clearly and concisely with clients, effectively conveying necessary messages.
