Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Williams Sonoma Inc. in Bondi Junction. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales experience to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service by exemplifying excellent customer service standards.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of our products, features, and benefits, current sales, and promotions.
- Sales and Merchandising: Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity. Assist in implementation and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting.
- Store Operations: Uphold store and stockroom maintenance and cleanliness standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Teamwork: Succeed in a team environment but can work independently and manage your own time.
Requirements:
- Experience: Have retail sales experience, ideally in specialty retail and/or homewares, with a strong clientele ability.
- Skills: Have effective communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to be mobile in the store and back of house areas, including standing for long periods. Able to climb ladders and use other equipment in line with safety standards. Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 30 kg, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
