YOUR NEW POSITION

As a vital member of their accomplished Engineering team, led by industry-leading Patent Attorneys, you will experience the challenge, engagement, and fulfillment of:

utilizing your technical proficiency and business insight to develop strategies for protecting and enforcing the patent rights of prominent local and international clients.

Key responsibilities include: drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the engineering and/or ICT sectors, advising clients on patent portfolio management, addressing infringement and patentability concerns, and assisting in patent oppositions and/or litigation.

WHO WE SEEK

We are eager to connect with candidates who:

  • possess a minimum of 24 months' post-qualification experience as a registered Australian/NZ patent attorney (or are an overseas qualified patent attorney nearing qualification in Australia/NZ);
  • hold a degree or higher qualifications (e.g., Masters/PhD) in mechanical engineering or a related field;
  • demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills;
  • have practical experience in drafting and prosecuting patents (desirable);
  • exhibit excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
