Your future role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team responsible for the maintenance of the NGR fleet. Based at our facility in Wulkuraka, you will work closely with the Engineering, Operations, Planning, QA, and Project teams to provide support to the fleet.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the Maintenance Optimisation plan and support the yearly Engineering Strategy and Business Strategy.
  • Establish systems and mechanisms for recording, analysing, reporting, and investigating performance data.
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate rolling stock fault trends and establish their root cause.
  • Write Technical Procedures for the operations teams as required.
  • Undertake engineering-based risk assessments for the project team as required.

Requirements

  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage your time effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a team player, happy to assist where required.
  • IT savvy with demonstrated experience using Microsoft office products.
  • Significant experience within maintenance engineering, ideally within Rail or a similar heavy industry.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
