We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and delivery of highway infrastructure projects in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders, taking into account factors such as traffic management, site planning, and environmental impact.
- Civil Engineering Expertise: Utilize your civil engineering expertise to design and deliver highway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Australian and local standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of highway engineers, designers, and drafters, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
- Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering and be accredited as a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
- Experience: Possess 12+ years of related or equivalent project management, technical design, and delivery experience in Queensland on TMR projects involving urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, and geometrical layouts.
- Skills: Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
