Job Description:

As a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture of our organization. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be invaluable in developing and implementing effective security measures, providing guidance, and raising awareness of security issues within the department.

This role is integral to the success of our cybersecurity team, and we are seeking an experienced professional who can demonstrate their knowledge of security architecture best practices, Azure cloud infrastructure, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive security documentation, ensuring high-quality outcomes under pressure.
  • Provide both technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs regarding security architecture best practices.
  • Raise awareness of security issues among technical and non-technical departmental staff.
  • Implement Essential Eight in other Government agencies, involving technical uplift and guidance to various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure and services, conducting thorough technical assessments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
  • Articulate and document technical security artifacts, communicating the impacts of security risks.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven track record of implementing Essential Eight in other Government agencies, providing technical uplift and guidance to diverse stakeholders.
  • Substantial experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, particularly in conducting technical assessments.
