We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, contract management and supervision of Engineering projects, undertaking initial scoping of future projects and drafting reports, reviewing and/or preparing project design briefs for engineering consultants, coordinating approvals and permits for civil infrastructure projects, and leading the tender process from document preparation through to evaluation and recommendation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engineering Design: Review and prepare project design briefs, ensuring they meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Tender Process: Coordinate the tender process, evaluate submissions, and recommend awarding contracts.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Registration: Hold current registration as a Professional Engineer in Victoria.
  • Team Management: Demonstrate experience in managing teams or supervising staff.
  • Civil Design and Construction: Possess expertise in civil design, construction, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Problem-Solving: Showcase skills in problem-solving, community engagement, and project management.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
