Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Timber Education Specialist to join our team at Penola Catholic College, a co-educational institution focused on delivering quality contemporary learning practices.

This permanent full-time position will involve teaching Stage 5 and 6 Industrial Technology - Timber courses, with opportunities to innovate and integrate technology into teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and program in Stages 5 and 6 Technology, including Technology Mandatory and Stage 6 VET Construction
  • Design and deliver differentiated learning programs that cater to diverse student needs
  • Maintain sound knowledge of and commitment to Catholic Education principles
  • Develop effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively as a team member
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices
Requirements:
  • A current CV and cover letter addressing the position criteria
  • Qualification transcripts and experience reports
  • Three professional referees
  • A valid Working with Children's Check

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development.
