Senior Process Safety Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the Process Safety program across our Pacific Operations, ensuring it operates with optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
This individual will drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate closely with key stakeholders, and provide critical support for governance reporting and risk assessment programs.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement process safety policies and procedures that align with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Provide informed input to business units and risk assessment committees.
- Establish training programs for site process safety practices.
- Support Hazard Operability studies, including training and developing safety teams.
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Process Safety.
- Exhibit a collaborative mindset and experience shaping strategic direction in complex programs.
- Demonstrate significant industrial and process safety experience.
- Display a passion for building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
