Our organisation is seeking a skilled professional to lead and develop a visual arts program, promoting equity for disabled and disadvantaged community and professional visual artists.

The role will involve leading the visual arts team, delivering authentic personalised artworks including print making, recruiting and managing direct support staff, and ensuring process and system compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the visual arts team to deliver high-quality artworks
  • Recruiting and managing direct support staff
  • Leading marketing activity and brand awareness opportunities
  • Ensuring process and system compliance
  • Optimising income generation opportunities
  • Investigating further funding opportunities through networks

Selection criteria includes:

  • Experience working in visual arts development
  • Leading, supervising and managing teams
  • High knowledge and experience in the field of Print Making
  • Exceptional administrative, project management and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and networking skills; ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Disability awareness
  • Blue Card and NDIS clearance required
