Visual Arts and Design Professional

Job Title: Visual Arts Technician

Location: Brisbane, Queensland

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can utilize your skills and experience in visual arts and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach visual arts and related subjects to students from Prep-Year 12
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative curriculum programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school-wide goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to students in the development of their artistic skills
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive school culture

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education)
  • Hold a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or be eligible to obtain one prior to commencement
  • Appropriate qualifications and experience teaching visual arts and related subjects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school
