About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Mechanic / Field Service Technician to join our team at Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers' Komatsu fleet of D475 (Dozers) and HD785 (Mechanical Drive Trucks).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with mobile plant equipment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
  • Past experience working on a mine site is preferred
  • Strong exposure to diagnostic, service, and breakdowns on mobile plant equipment
  • Ability to complete a coal board medical
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and work unsupervised
  • MR Drivers Licence
