The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Business Analysts who are interested in growing their career in Business and Project Services Consulting. As a Terra Firma Business Consultant, you will work on long and short-term projects, showcasing your business analysis and process improvement skills. You will be provided with ongoing leadership and support, reporting to the Consulting Capability Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements
  • Performing 'as is' and 'to be' process and gap analysis
  • Modelling/mapping of business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Leading stakeholder meetings and facilitating workshops
  • Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
  • Creating functional specifications for solutions
  • Estimating costs and identifying business savings
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team
  • Planning, overseeing, and contributing to system and user acceptance testing
  • Supporting business transition and helping to establish change

Requirements

You will have experience as a Generalist Business Analyst with a variety of industry experience under your belt. You will have knowledge of BA and project approaches, including Agile, SCRUM (nice to have), and more traditional requirements. You may also have some experience with Jira, Confluence, BPMN, or other process tools. CRM, qualifications, and/or certifications in Agile, SaFE, IIBA, or BABoK are also highly regarded.
