The Star Brisbane is set to emerge as a premier entertainment and leisure hub, featuring an array of entertainment choices, luxurious accommodations, diverse dining options, upscale retail, gaming facilities, and a cutting-edge Event Centre.

As a Steward, reporting to the Stewarding Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Food & Beverage outlets, both in front and behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals at all times
  • Ensure waste management practices are followed, with a focus on recycling
  • Maintain and operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, utensils, and glassware
  • Assist in the setup and preparation for events and banquets

What We Are Looking For

  • A proactive team player who embodies our core values
  • A solid understanding of or willingness to learn food safety regulations
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including early mornings and overnight shifts
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong focus and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
