Cloud-First Azure DevOps Engineer Role

Sustain Recruit is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client's dynamic Cloud/DevOps team. This exciting opportunity involves enhancing and scaling the company's Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions using Azure and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services, including App Services, Service Bus, VM Scale Sets/Availability Sets, and Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Familiarity with CICD principles and tools, including Azure DevOps, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure and Terraform for IaC.
  2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Github Actions.
  3. Support and optimize critical Azure services, including AKS, Virtual Machines, Service Bus, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
  4. Embed observability and monitoring solutions to ensure performance and scalability.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong expertise in Azure services and experience with Terraform for IaC.
  • Extensive experience with CICD principles and tools, including Azure DevOps.
  • Proven scripting skills, with a preference for PowerShell or Python.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of up to $1000 per day (inclusive of super) and a hybrid work model with a preference for 3 days per week in the office (Sydney or Melbourne).
