Lead Hardware Engineering Expert

We are seeking an accomplished leader with the ability to empower individuals and guide teams towards achieving complex program goals.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise and people leadership, with a proven ability to deliver results in high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow national hardware engineering capability.
  • Manage resources across programs, ensuring alignment to business priorities.
  • Partner with program leadership on execution, delivery and review of hardware engineering work packages.
  • Support bids and proposals, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
  • Provide functional governance, driving consistency and best practice.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Strong background in hardware engineering within acquisition and sustainment programs.
  • Advanced leadership skills with the ability to drive innovation and lead change.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Track record of successful program execution in hardware capability.
