Technical Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Lead to oversee the development of our software solutions. This role involves guiding a global team of developers and quality engineers in building key components of our product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software developers and quality engineers to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Take an active role in the design and development of complex features, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Set high standards for engineering excellence, driving continuous improvement and refinement of our codebase.
  • Oversee the creation and review of design tasks for user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage technical debt, refactoring, component upgrades, and deployment strategies to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with lead developers to evaluate and improve system architecture, driving innovation and growth.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure success.
  • Participate in refinement sessions, representing the development team in meetings to ensure effective communication.
  • Partner with Technical Leads and DevOps to establish achievable, capacity-based roadmaps, aligning with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills in software development, quality engineering, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, driving cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and drive innovative solutions.
