About the Role
Ventia is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Department of Transport contract. In this position, you will be responsible for performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks in and around the harbour, including but not limited to:
- Lighting and power systems
- Navigational aids and high voltage equipment
- Vessel power outlets and testing & tagging
This role will require you to work predominately at the South Fremantle Boat Harbour, with occasional travel to the Perth metro area and remote locations in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and testing
- Repair, refurbish, or replace defective equipment
- Record inspection results and ensure safety and quality documentation are completed as required
Requirements
- WA Drivers Licence
- WA Grade-A Electrical Licence
- Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
- HRWL – Elevated Work Platform (WP)
- Working Safely at Heights
- Prior experience in Maintenance Electrician role
