Operations Director

This role is a key position in our hospital operations. The incumbent will work closely with executive management to support the network's mission, vision and strategic directions.

The incumbent serves as the Network's representative to community partners, building relationships of trust and aligning the facility's operations with population needs.

This role ensures hospital services function smoothly through an integrated approach, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree in health, administration or management
  • A master's degree in business administration, public administration or health services management (an asset)
  • Eight to ten years of professional experience relevant to the position and/or in health services management

We are looking for someone who is able to rally and mobilize teams around a common vision in a complex environment. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, experience in planning, coordinating and supervising hospital operations, and proven versatility, adaptability and responsiveness.

The incumbent must be dynamic and innovative, with the ability to generate support and commitment. They must also be able to make decisions under pressure and outside their field of expertise, and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
