Commercial Contract Administrator Role

The successful candidate will provide vital support across a wide portfolio of projects, reviewing and negotiating commercial terms, managing stakeholder relationships, supporting project teams, and overseeing day-to-day administration and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate contract terms; maintain and update registers
  • Coordinate correspondence and ensure all supporting documentation is managed effectively
  • Support award, setup, and sign-off documentation
  • Assist project teams with compliance, performance tracking, and key project meetings
  • Engage and assess subcontractors in line with head contract obligations
  • Prepare and process payment claims, invoices, and variations
  • Contribute to commercial and project reporting, including KPIs, forecasting, and cost control
  • Assist with pre-qualifications and tender submissions
  • Deliver internal reporting on costs, hours, and forecasting
Requirements:
  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role (2+ years for more senior applicants)
  • Solid understanding of commercial contracts within mining/resources or infrastructure
  • Confident in reviewing contracts and leading clarifications with clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
Work Environment:

The role is based in a central office location, close to public transport. Onsite parking available at a discounted daily rate. Surrounded by cafes, lunch spots, and amenities.
